26th Mir Detstva 2021 International Exhibition for the Children’s Industry will be held on 21–24 September 2021 in Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow
Irina Varfolomeeva: “We continue our preparations for Mir Detstva, which will run at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia, on 21–24 September 2021, and are happy to share the latest news with you.
Despite the cancellation of Mir Detstva in 2020 due to pandemic-related restrictions, the interest in it is still huge. Most companies have postponed their participation until autumn 2021, thus expressing their confidence in the show and its effectiveness. As of right now, more than 200 companies have confirmed their participation, and the floor space of the show exceeds 9,000 sq m.
On February 22, 2021, the 25th anniversary edition of the International Exhibition for Child and Junior Fashion, Maternity Wear – CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2021. Spring opened EXPOCENTRE’s season of trade shows and congresses which are finally held offline with face-to-face meetings after a long break due to the pandemic. CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2021. Spring was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and in close cooperation with Russian federal authorities, business support organisations and industry associations. It is a universal marketing tool for industry recovery for both Russian and foreign markets.
CJF – Child and Junior Fashion is a traditional meeting place for manufacturers, distributors and retailers, and has a reputation as an effective business platform, organised twice a year in February and September, in line with the wholesale buying cycle in this market segment.
Despite all the difficulties, the exhibition exceeded the expectations of both organisers and participants. It had great success and was held at the traditionally high level of representativeness, product coverage and commercial efficiency, maintaining all of its major product sectors.
The exhibition showcased new collections of quality clothes, footwear and accessories for children and future mothers from 200 companies of 11 countries (Austria, Belarus, Finland, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the UK, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan). It is noteworthy that a number of Russian regions such as Krasnodar krai, Omsk, Orel, Penza, Ulyanovsk and Yaroslavl oblasts arranged group stands at the exhibition.
The exhibition was attended by 7,634 professional visitors.
The event programme included 21 events with 100 speakers who were the industry’s leading experts. The total number of professional visitors was more than 2,000. In order to ensure a wide coverage of foreign and regional professional audiences, the events were held in both online and offline formats.
Representatives of the Mir Detstva and CJF team also took part in the panel. They made a presentation “Mir Detstva and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion as Universal Marketing Tools for the Children’s Industry Recovery” and talked about advantages of taking part in these shows.
